some pictures from the past week before i forget and put them off forever and ever.

i made tiramisu!

eeeks, not the most pratical dessert to make cash-wise, but so so worth it! at first i was apprehensive since most recipes used cocoa powder and i dont know if you've noticed but cocoa powder is bitter and disgusting. managed to find a recipe that used drinking chocolate powder instead, how brilliant it that? i topped them off with grated chocolate (yes, i used my mini-grater!) so in a nutshell, tiramisu=awesome. as joey would say;
coffee? good. chocolate? good. cheese? gooooooood.

speaking of rings, my cousin and his girlfriend got engaged on sunday

i dont remember tunangs being a big deal but apparently they are? i had to wear a proper tunic and everything. i paired it charmingly with my havainas though... it was the weekend ok, i am not forsaking the comfort of my feet on a sunday!

finally got to eat my garlic prawn pasta on monday!

i think i was 16 when i first started eating at coffee club but mostly for dessert with my mom. fancy coffee for her, iced passion tea for me and a muddy mud pie for the road. then i started having actual meals there and this pasta quickly became my favourite. this and their wasabi prawn salad. and their banana butterscotch latte. and their calamari.

i'm sorry, i cannot lie. i love everything.
