i bought a new toothbrush, i feel like im ready for anything! how eXXXciting!

White Chocolate Fudge Bars

+225g plain flour (sifted)
+400g granulated sugar
+125g unsalted butter
+75g chocolate
+2 eggs
+1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
+2 tsp vanilla essence
+150g white chocolate chips

===

-preheat oven to 175 degree celcius
-melt the chocolate and butter
-in a big bowl, beat the 2 eggs, sugar and vanilla essence
-add the melted chocolate & butter, mix well
-stir in the flour and bicarbonate soda
-pour mixture into a 9X13 inch pan (thats about 3inches deep)
-sprinkle white chocolate chips over the batter
-bake for 30 minutes
-leave it to cool for 45mins-1hour
-cut into bite sized pieces (should make about 36)


ok i should be honest, the original recipe calls for 75g of white chocolate but we forgot about that so we used some chocolate bar we found in the fridge lol

nabillah and i made white chocolate fudge bars and it turned out SO GOOD. pictures and recipe when the sun is awake!

p.s. the dulce de leche frap was super awesome. i wish i could have it all day, every day.

p.p.s. god my stomach's on fire because i had too much chilli, way over the legal limit.

p.p.p.s. i had to hide the fudge bars from my dad because he was eating it like there's no tomorrow. lol i wish i took a picture of his 'eh, dahbis eh?' face.

the first time i tasted dulce de leche was a couple of years back when i was in australia, i think it was an ice cream topping. i was hooked, it tasted like caramel but..... better (can you imagine that?) and then last year, i discovered that starbucks in the usOFa served dulce de leche frappuccino. grrrr i was sore that the ones here dont serve them (ice cold frap, with the delicious taste of sweet orgasmic dulce de leche.... yummmm)

last sunday, me and amalina were at the starbucks at suntec city and it was really crowded so amalina was queuing up for drinks while i 'chop' our precious table. while she was standing in line, i looked around the counter (from my table, 6/6 vision mah) and saw this;




i was like YEAY and made wild gestures at amalina cos she didnt have her handphone with her and i didnt want to lose our table. can you imagine looking at a girl waving and pointing like a maniac? cos that was what i was doing. i tried to concentrate real hard and sent her a telepathic message, "cancel the iced vanilla latte, get me a dulce de leche frap instead!" but i guess i wasnt focusing hard enough cos she didnt get the message. *sadface* but it's ok cos we're going again later today and imma buy me one venti dulce de leche frappuccino with whipped cream and die of bliss! you can expect a full on review of the drink later.

on a sidenote, i told amalina how dulce de leche was made and she was like, "oh thats why its called that eh? cos it's very leceh" LOL but it does make a teeny bit of sense doesnt it? or maybe i was drunk.
