 | a few weeks ago, i had a mini (very mini) cedar/ncc reunion with amalina, noraini and yany. soooo fun! we were exchanging stories from school, from ncc and it got me all emotional and nostalgic even though 99% of the stories were funny. we quickly moved on to gossip ("___ did what?!") and then naturally, by the end we were swapping ghost stories (of course). girls, lets do this more ok? (aidiah next time join us lah jgn malu2 haahaa!) |
| this was a few weeks ago, also a reunion with some of my friends from borders. havent eaten seoul garden for quite a while so that was fun. the dude on the left, i call him mat nash and i initially thought he was kinda gay cos he kept singing songs that were, well, gay. haahaa turns out he's mr sensitive but i've been mocking him nonetheless. the girl in the tudung is nurul, she's a tudung rebel (yes she is) and she is tiny. i miss borders =( |  |

i havent been getting much sleep, my eye bags and dark rings are taking over my face. oh, i cut my hair 2 saturdays ago. i like it, it's a bit shorter and not as thick so i look less like a lion now and instead of taking half a day to dry after a shower, it only takes a quarter. this is major. also major is the fact that im gonna get to see kt tunstall perform! god bless kham, thursday cant come soon enough.

movies i've watched this past week
the column on the extreme right are movies that i've watched before (obviously, who hasnt watched pretty woman right?). the ones that i would recommend to people are Run Fat Boy Run/Things We Lost in the Fire/Wristcutters A Love Story. the ones that i would recommend to people i hate are Dirty Dancing Havana Nights(what the hell was i thinking)/August Rush. Sorry Diego Luna, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Keri Russell i love you guys but NO.

something weird is happening to me. i've been dreaming about Cristiano Ronaldo..... a lot. which is weird because i don't like him, hell i don't even know him! i mean, i know he plays for Manchester United and he has funny eyebrows/teeth but thats it! i can easily name 20 other guys that i think about more than him. so why the hell am i dreaming about him so often! what is my mind trying to tell me?!so i told nabillah about this and of course the penguin found time to mock me. this was our conversation (note that everything she said was in a lecherous tone);

god! so im in my room and i hear someone abusing their horning rights. at first it was subtle, and then it got louder and more consistent. so i looked out of my window and i see this chinese dude carrying a kid and the kid (maybe 2 years old?) was using the horn. so i shout "shut up please!" (i thought the please showed a teeny bit of graciousness on my part) but the horns were louder than me. so i did what every girl would have done, i went to my dad. he looked out the window, shouted 'HELLO YOU STOP IT!' and the guy actually heard him and put the kid down. hah! that'll show him.
only problem is, now the kid is screaming and crying and god help me, it seems to be louder and more annoying than the horns.
what am i, living in the ghetto or something!

ok let me just say this; i hate writing cover letters! god. there's just something so wrong with the whole system of praising yourself to a complete stranger saying things like, "I am a very committed and hard working individual", or "I am an excellent team worker and work well under pressure". gah! pressure!

my mom is the super-hero in my life. lois lane had clark kent, i have my mother.
no, really, im typing this literally minutes after she answered my screams for help.
i believe they were something like this,
"ma! there's a lipas on my curtains!! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! lekas bunuhkan!!".
i just want to clarify that lipas are like my Achilles’ heel. cicaks i can handle but lipas... NO. cicaks are stupid and so easy to kill but with lipas, you gotta worry, "can this one fly?" so i'd rather not take the risk of having a flying cockroach flutter around my head, thank you very much! just thinking about it is giving me goosebumps.
so back to the story, after hearing my cries, my mom sighed (it was not something she wasn't used to) and proceeded to save me with only a rolled up old newspaper.
i waited in the living room where my father, who wouldnt admit it but i know is also scared of cockroaches, was calmly playing sudoku on my dslite. i heard 2 loud thuds and ding dong thewitchlipas is dead. see, my hero!
