today i went to video ezy and rented this;
i read the book eons ago and you know how it is when you see a movie that is based on a book you have read before, you get excited cos you get to put actual faces to the characters you read about? yeah yeah im weird like that but i was excited to see how everyone in the book looked like.
the movie was great, typical feel-good flick (and since the book was feel-good too, i say great!) and because i am nice and bored, i took screencaps for shits and giggles.
kostos looks very much like a thin and way hotter version of vin diesel. and no, im not blind. 6/6 vision, thankyouverymuch.
paul doesnt have any romantic relationship with anyone(in the first book that is) cos he's just some kid's brother and has only one line throughout the whole movie. however, i vote him the most good looking of these 3.
eric was supposed to be the hottest guy ever(based on the book) but nyeh. he's too OC-looking for my taste.
and yes, that was me analyzing a movie that you guys would probably never see.

pop-up ads are so annoying.today i went to town then to city hall then back to town then back to city hall with khamikaze, the suicide pilot from ubi. hot hot day today, typical singapore weather even though it did rain quite a bit this past week. malay teenagers are so cool. no, i mean it. no, seriously. ok not really. we almost got lost in marina square though. on the bus home, we made an ah soh uncomfortable and i went all over eunos and a little boy smiled at me at a bus stop. it made me a bit happy.
we dont listen to instructions.
also, does anyone know a great place that has this?
have been wanting to try it for quite a while now.
so my opinion on Be With Me. 3/4 of the people that watched the film did so because they heard about some girl on girl action. these are the same mofos who cant stop laughing everytime the main character, this blind and deaf woman, speaks. these are also the same mofos who shouted in their head 'that's all ah?!?!' after the one and only kiss the lesbian girls shared (an innocent, tongue-less one at that). the film itself was alright. awesome cinematography, little dialogue. not bad, especially when compared to more popular local films (i not stupid? come fucking on.)

hii ppl i am bored and forgetful and clumsy and temperamental. too many things are happening, all too slowly for my liking. i have a list of things to do when i get my pay, mainly fixing my ipod (yeay), shopping (yeay!) and doing my hair (yeayy!!). i have too many acquaintances and too little friends, which is one thing i like about my life. i need to clean my room cos there are more things on my floor than there should be. i cant seem to stop looking at the ground when im walking just cause im hoping i get lucky and spot a fifty dollar note. i need to stop listening to the strokes' new song and also stop imitating julian's voice. i cant wait for the album to come out!!!today, i saw this pretty thing

circled with an italic 'O' because i dont know how to draw a circle on photoshop without a mouse. the mothercat looked about ready to pounce on me though, lousy little shit.
i need a proper mouse!
also, i lied, its actually only 95% fat free.

hi hi hi. (part 2.)the first part of this post will be titled The Kitten That Stopped Traffic.
so this morning i was walking to the bus stop when this crazed kitten came running towards me. not wanting to be stalked by an annoying furball, i quickly rushed to the bus stop. from where i sat, i could see the crazed kitten running around the rubbish bin (told you it's crazy) and then, it ran to the middle of the road where, for reasons unknown, it stopped and started to chase its own tail. the makcik sitting beside me gasped because there were cars just driving past the kitten and it narrowly escaped from being run over a few times. i was thinking to myself 'would it be more interesting to tell people that i saw a kitten being run over or to tell them that i saved a kitten from being run over?'. i debated with myself for 5 seconds and chose the latter cos i really wasnt in the mood to witness the death of a cat. so i stood up, trying to imagine what it would feel like to pick up a cat with my morbid fear of furballs when a double decker bus came at an unusually fast speed. i almost shouted 'dont!' but i closed my eyes instead. i heard the loud sounds of brakes, opened my eyes and saw that the bus had swerved and that cars and motorcycles had stopped behind the bus. and the bloody kitten was still chasing its freaking tail! the bus driver then came out, picked the kitten up and walked all the way to the void deck and put the it there.
so thats the end of my story of The Kitten That Stopped Traffic. i hope my friends and family would be proud that i even contemplated touching a cat!
anyhow, yesterday i met up with elaine, peisan and amalina. had dinner at some cafe in front of Paradiz Centre.
uni kids. remember darlings, we were horny Cedarians first!
got the biggest migraine ever in my life, went home, popped 2 panadol extras and slept.
on monday, had dinner at seoul gardeen with nabillah and kak ameen (who looks like a bashed up angelina jolie meets don carleone from what i've heard, due to her massive wisdom tooth extraction) then met up with nurul to supposedly accompany her while she studied. hah! big joke.
we ended up posing for anime covers instead.
tuesday kham came to my school while i finished up my animation (thanks!) and we saw this;
at my school parking lot.
and then we went all the way to cineleisure for some kebabs only to find that Kyros Kebab is no longer there so we walked to far east for some Anatolia's. McFlurrys for dessert!
and then wednesday was my animation presentation and after that we went to Jack's Place for lunch.
My smile was a facade. I was pissed cos the cheapo set meal didnt come with the potato, i felt so cheated!

hi hi hi. (part 1.)i havent been updating much cos im much too lazy for my own good. anyhow, school's over and i miss it already (yes, you read that right). i have one major paper next wednesday, and then next saturday, i get to go do telecine! kind of excited for that, to see how our film turned out. this semester is the fastest one ever, it seems that it started just a week ago. love the modules, love the people, love school!

i'm pretty happy now, even now i'm broke as hell. this next 2 months, i will attempt to work work work more and get loads of money, eat eat eat less and hopefully lose the excess 50kg and.... yeah. thats bout it(im not very ambitious, as you can tell.)
