on sunday when the 4 of us were on the bus, we spotted this bangla on the bus beside us (traffic light what). we meaning nabilah and me lah, the kaypoh ones. he was digging his nose with a tissue and i was thinking to myself, 'well at least he's civilised enough to use a tissue'. and then when he was done, he stared at the tissue for about 3 seconds.and licked it.
holy jesus christ son of mary, we were both shrieking for balqis and fairuz to look at him but by that him he had already spotted us gawking at him and turned away.
never a dull moment indeed.
i am so broke it's painful. i now owe huda $5, juli $2 and rozi $0.15.

saturday i went back to work after about a month of slacking off at school. gaaaaah i have a love/hate relationship with my job. i love the pay and i hate the work.
sunday i caught mr&mrs smith. so-so movie with superhot actors. angelina jolie=perfection but (dare i say) she's not much of an actor. after that we went off to city hall then back to town to eat.

today i had my last Appreciating Literary Works class at Little India of all places. got lost, spent $9.60 on taxi fare. my lecturer told us to walk ard Little India for bout 50 mins, then spend 2 hours somewhere writing an essay about blahblahblah. so i sat like an idiot at Komala's sipping coke(cos i could afford anything else) writing bullshit on my paper and trying to pass it off as real work.
i squashed a baby lizard just now. i'm a ruthless killer.

so.australia was amazing. maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the people, maybe it was the fact that i got to see my uncle+aussiewife+2kids but it was amazinggg. i cannot wait to go there again and again and again.

the past week was so-so. my modules are all great, at least they are now cos we havent had any assignments yet. i hate my 3d animation class though. okay i dont hate it but so far we havent done anything remotely interesting, except for this;
my rocketship that is 3/4 done.
i have 2 presentations waiting for me when i get back from my trip, one for film history class and one for camera&lighting. basically for the former i'm supposed to analyze the work of V.I. Pudovkin and do a 10min presentation on his films and the effects of his work on the film industry. we're talking about films circa 1920s, no dialogue and black and white. yawnfest right? not really lah, it's not that bad.
what have i been doing lately? i sold some stuff online and made about $50. i realised i have an unhealthy penchant for cute stuff. but not like kawaii cute but practical cute. like this;

when i said practical, i meant that i use it a lot on a daily basis. so that i can wrap neat packages like this;
that's gilmore girls in the background. i'm almost done downloading Season 5, just 3 more episodes. singapore will probably air Season 5 in like 3 yrs. yeay for limewire!!
i packed 3 different cameras for my trip, the actionsplash, the polaroid and the retarded digital camera. one week to waste film&memory. yeay yeay yeay!
so it's around 8 hrs till my flight, i havent finished packing. there are very little things that are worst than packing, seriously. but it doesnt stop there, naturally. there's been a flu epedimic going around fsv students so guess who has fever and a cold? yours truly. i've popped like 4 paracetemol, 6 panadol flu, 4 panadol extra and so if i dont make it for the trip because i died of overdose you people know why.
5 minutes ago, i opened my room door to go to the kitchen and i was greeted by the sight of my parents reading the newspaper and singing along to black eye peas' dont phunk with my heart that was playing on the radio. im scarred for life.
